Who wants to road trip?

How’s this for an adventure road trip – Northern New Mexico to Mexico City, following the old historical trail from Santa Fe? National Geographic would eat it up. Check out the whole historical trail on the fed’s site here. On a personal note, my wife and I have had a fuzzy plan for a while now to make a trip to Latin America this winter/spring. Some new committments have arisen and it looks like that may get pushed back. Instead we’ve been kicking around the idea of a short road trip to Mexico just to scratch our feet until we have time to get further south. I’ll keep you posted as we consider other routes and Itineraries. As much as I love this historical trip idea, the closest route to Baja is pretty tempting, too…
